ATESTEO appoints Sebastian Bünger as Chief Financial Officer

Effective April 1, 2026, Sebastian Bünger assumes the position of Chief Financial Officer at ATESTEO and becomes a member of the executive management team.

With Sebastian Bünger, the company gains an experienced executive with extensive expertise in financial management, corporate steering, and strategic transformation. In previous leadership roles at Westag AG, he was responsible for the further development of finance and controlling organizations, the expansion of modern reporting and management structures, and the support of growth and innovation programs.

As an independent expert in drivetrain testing, ATESTEO stands for precise and reproducible results worldwide and for the development of the next generation of test solutions across all mobility sectors. The increasing technological dynamics in areas such as automotive, heavy duty, commercial and rail vehicles, as well as aerospace, require a high performance and future oriented finance organization that enables strategic investments and secures sustainable growth.

In his new role, Sebastian Bünger assumes overall responsibility for the company’s finance functions. The focus is on further professionalizing financial steering, ensuring maximum transparency for internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the innovation and internationalization strategy. The objective is to consistently align the financial foundation to strengthen independence, precision, and innovative capability in the long term.
