  • President Roy M. Schulde to depart ATESTEO North America as of May 2025

  • Interim President appointed

  • U.S. headquarters continues on growth trajectory

Since its successful launch in Michigan in 2024, ATESTEO North America has steadily expanded its presence in the U.S. market. More and more vehicle and drivetrain manufacturers are placing their trust in the East Lansing headquarters for drivetrain and e-mobility testing. Much of this success is thanks to Roy M. Schulde, who played a key role in building and establishing the U.S. operations from day one as President of ATESTEO North America. For three years, Schulde was instrumental in shaping and driving ATESTEO’s footprint in the United States. Now, this productive partnership comes to a close, as Roy M. Schulde left the company for personal reasons effective  May 2025. He will always remain an integral part of the ATESTEO story, and his contributions will continue to resonate in the ongoing success of ATESTEO North America. Until further notice, seasoned testing and development expert Steve Gibson will assume the role of Interim President. A British engineer with a distinguished career at Esso, Ford, and AVL Test Systems, Gibson joined ATESTEO’s U.S. team in 2025 and brings deep technical expertise and leadership experience to the role. His extensive expertise in testing and developing electric motors and electrified powertrains makes him the ideal candidate for the management position, ensuring that ATESTEO North America continues to enjoy success.
