DAkkS-accredited calibration of electrical measured quantities
Ensuring that electrical components are functional requires measuring electrical parameters such as electrical power, current, voltage, resistance, frequency, speed, and voltage ratio. In the mobility industry, for example, faulty components and non-functioning parts can be identified and optimized as early as the development stage of electric vehicle drives. The integrity of electrical test data depends on the precision of the measured values. To make sure that electrical parameters are precisely measured, electrical measuring instruments must be accurately calibrated for these parameters. As vehicle systems become more electrified and complex, accredited calibration guarantees consistent, traceable and reliable results throughout the testing process.
Precision starts with reliably calibrated electrical measuring instruments
Calibrating an electrical measurement device is essential for maintaining consistent data. Calibration ensures the performance, efficiency, and safety of measurement technology while boosting operational efficiency. Accredited calibrations guarantee high-quality, traceable measurement data. As the world’s leading drivetrain testing specialist, ATESTEO offers our own high-precision measurement technology and calibrates electrical test and measuring devices for the automotive and other industries. In our DAkkS-accredited calibration laboratory, we focus on calibrating power analyzers, current transformers, and measurement modules.

Here’s how electrical calibration at ATESTEO works:
1. Request for calibration
2. Quotation for electrical calibration
3. Order
4. Calibration
Together with you, we determine the criteria for the calibration of your electrical measurement device:
- Calibration object (Manufacturer, type, options, serial number)
- Type of calibration (factory or DAkkS)
- Calibration of measuring device or calibrator
- Measurand to calibrate
You receive a comprehensive quotation taking into account the defined criteria (including price and delivery date).
After ordering, you receive an order confirmation (order confirmation) from ATESTEO. Then you send your measurement equipment to ATESTEO for the calibration.
We perform the calibration of your equipment, as defined with you, in our DAkkS-accredited calibration laboratory within 10 days.
DAkkS accreditation of the ATESTEO calibration laboratory in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018
